A Captivating Time Capsule
I could write on extensively, about all the reasons this film was such a joy to watch. In an effort at succinctness, I'll simply point out the nice print quality, sensitive photography/photo montage, and of course the exquisite control that Blind Gary Davis had over his voice and instrument. It all comes together to deliver an enthralling short subject, that will take you to another time and place.
The only possible complaint I can find with this video, is that I wish it had been longer. I would have liked to have stayed in that other time and place a bit longer.
